RECENT NEWS

*The Shoppe will be closed Friday, May 18 2018 for a special event.

Hello everyone! One thing is for sure, we are always eager to show you what's new around the Shoppe! Spring has finally arrived here in Oregon and of course Mother Nature is slowly awaking here in the Charbonneau District of Wilsonville.

As we head into Spring there are some very exciting and creative events happening here at the Shoppe that we are happy to share with you! Oh who am I kidding...there are exciting events happening throughout all of 2018!

First up, in April we have our 4th annual S.p.R.u.N.g Workshop with designer Kathy Cardiff of The Cottage at Cardiff Farms on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11am-6pm. Since spring time is always "hit or miss" here in Oregon S.p.R.u.N.g is Spring...but in a "funky funk" kind of way.

If you haven't attended one of our workshops, this is your chance to work alongside some of your favorite designers here in an intimate, resort-like setting. Our workshops are held in our classroom building which is located directly across the parking lot from our Shoppe. For our event workshops such as S.p.R.u.N.g, Wool N' Harvest & our Christmas workshop, Homespun & Holly we love to spoil you with a catered themed luncheon.

For S.p.R.u.N.g Kathy will be teaching her brand new project, "For the Bees" from her new book, A Cottage Garden. The fee for this workshop includes a complete wool kit, specialty instruction by Kathy and a catered, gourmet luncheon. A purchased copy of A Cottage Garden is required to attend the workshop. There is some "prep" work for students to do before you arrive, so you will need to be registered no later than April 14, 2018.

Also new this week are sign ups for our all-new Quilty Fun Block of The Month Club which starts May 26! Pictured above is our first row from this popular Lori Holt project! You will need a purchased copy of the book Quilty Fun to participate. If you loved our Farm Girl Vintage BOM, you will love this! As always Jan is fantastic with color and uses a variety of coordinated fabrics to give you that cohesive, fabulous end-product result!

We'd love to see many of you at our variety of activities out here at the Shoppe! For more information about our Classes, Events & Block of The Month programs, click here to see everything we have going on for this season!

New fabrics are always arriving here in the Shoppe! We are excited to announce that Moda's new "Nest" collection will be arriving in the Shoppe this April! Definitely a collection to keep your eyes on! Look at all of those cute prints!

Another new collection this month is the all-new Harmony collection by Sweetwater. It's quite obvious that we are in love with the text prints in this collection as how can you not love phrases such as "Be Humble", "Keep it Simple" and "Choose Joy?" But it's the blue, gray and yellow combination that has us thinking of Summer!

Finally for this update, we have a sneak peak of Blocks 1, 2 & 3 for our new Merry, Merry Snowmen Block-of-The-Month! Jan still has a few spots that she created extra kits for seeew if you are interested in this program, you need to get signed up ASAP. We started this program in March, seeew we are already one month into it! This is a completely new colorway from the original version that was shown on our blog in 2012 and we are smitten with the results seew far! It's bright, happy and full of Christmas fantasy!

That's it for today! Keep checking back for more updates. The difference between our blog and this Recent News column is that anything I show you here willl not be archived. Therefore it's important to take interest while I'm showing it to you and use the links I have provided. It really will make it that much easier for you!
